MEMBERSHIP AT MWA
MWA membership is open to Lesbian, Bisexual, Queer women, and gender non-conforming individuals who align with MWA’s vision and mission, requiring a referral from an existing member. Members actively contribute to the organization’s mission by participating in empowerment initiatives, workshops, and mentorship programs for the LBQGNC community. They play a dual role as contributors and beneficiaries, engaging in chapter-led activities, conducting research on LBQGNC experiences, and advocating for their community through public campaigns and social media. Members also have a say in MWA’s directives and policies, recommend support services for the LGBTI community, and contribute to educational programs to promote acceptance and inclusivity in local communities.
